In August 2009,
One of the SFBians, Nash, took part in the late M.J dance impersonation contest "Remember the Time Dance" at Orchard Central. He dance his way to finals through 3 eliminating rounds that happen over 3 weeks and won 3rd Place in the contest.

During October and September
Wansmoof competed in Suntec Dance 2009 Open Solo category and he had to go through 4 grueling rounds before he reached the Final.
He competed in the final at the Fountain of Wealth, Suntec city. He emerged 3rd and was also awarded Best Costume in the competition.
On 20th September,
which is the first day of Hari Raya Puasa.He competed in the final at the Fountain of Wealth, Suntec city. He emerged 3rd and was also awarded Best Costume in the competition.
During July - December
Styles from Beyond joined a dance competition called Dance Crown of Honour 2009. This competition consist of 4 rounds held in Singapore and Malaysia respectively. Finalists from Both countries will meet in the Semi Final and Final in Genting Highland, Malaysia.
SFB made it to the Finals and had to compete 2 different routines with 15 other finalists from Singapore and Malaysia Crews. Styles From Beyond emerged the Champion and walk home $ 10 000, sponsor prizes and a trophy in the first DCOH organised by OMG event company.
On 31st December 2009,
Styles from Beyond, along side with Fantastic Crew performed for the star-studded countdown event which was set against the fantastic view of the Singapore skyline at Marina Bay.
A splendid line-up of performances by homegrown celebrities, artistes from across the region as well as our Singapore Idol finalists, Da Mouth (touted as Asia’s Black Eyed Peas) from Taiwan, Dayang Nurfaizah from Malaysia, Singapore Idol Top 13, Sleeq, John Molina & Krueger, Jack & Rai, Heregoesnoth!ng, The Great Spy Experiment, Juxtapose, Bloco Singapura and Stylez from Beyond.
With exhilarating display of fireworks extravaganza at midnight and with 7-hours of non-stop music with internationally acclaimed DJs Ko Flow, George Leong and Kennerve. Countdown with the nation was a blast!!!

Hi PPL!
Let us look back and see what's SFB has been up to since March Last year 2009.
In March,
Styles From Beyond competed in Singapore Best Dance Crew 2009 and made it to the Semi Final but we didn't made it to the Final.
SFB Archive Vid:
Joyce and the Boys won the competition and represented Singapore in World Hip Hop @ Nevada, Las Vegas where they brought glory to SG by winning 3rd .
In June,
Zaihar, Wansmoof and Hanif joined 2 Da Street Dance Competition (Solo Category) by SG Street Festival, Electric Youth and they won 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
On 27th June last year 2009,
Mud and Hanif joined an Open Solo category in a Dance competition called Lah! De'Fuse Dance Competition at Bukit Batok CC. Mud was announced as the champion in the dance competition.

On 28th June last year 2009,
Styles From Beyond were invited to perform at Big Groove 2009 @ Expo with top crews in Singapore and Asia..

Hello PPL!
Just want to let you know, there is another dance workshop coming up on the 28th Feb. Zaihar will be conducting a dance workshop and this time its Not only him who will be teaching...but also MAZLAN. Yes...Mazlan! they will be conducting 1 session each. Details as follow:

Styles From Beyond celebrate our 8th years Anniversay!!
We have been Grooving, Uprocking and been a growing as a FAMILY for the past 8 years.
Its was a wonderful 8 years and we a really blessed to be still around till now.
Thank you everyone for the support and full of loves given to US.
